How would you describe your style?
Photojournalistic with creative portraiture. I focus the majority of my attention on capturing candid moments as they happen without recreating events. I direct portraits creatively to create striking images but with a focus on fun and natural emotion.
Do you photograph destination weddings?
This is totally our bag. Our home base is in Miami, FL but photograph a few weeks a year in the Cotswolds and surrounding English countryside and also travel frequently around the US and beyond.
What are your travel fees?
Every wedding is different, but typically travel fees cover two nights hotel and flights.
Do you include digital images and reprint rights?
I always include high resolution images with reprint rights without logos/watermarks. Have fun with them forever.
Do you design wedding albums?
Not only do we design wedding albums, but we photograph the wedding with your wedding story in mind from start to finish and documenting your wedding in the form of a story is our primary goal. This will also be the means by which you will be able to share your story with your children one day.
What do you use to photograph?
I use all professional Canon full frame cameras and prime and zoom lenses.
How do you photograph outdoor weddings at night?
Living in Miami we photograph a lot of weddings outdoors at night and love them. There is so much excitement and fun under the stars as well as so much beautiful light to capture. We have plenty of experience with both natural night lighting and wireless unobtrusive flash lighting and can show you examples and help you with your wedding lighting option.
What is a “First Look”?
Sometimes couples want to photograph their portraits before the wedding ceremony. In order to capture the awe of seeing each other for the first time we might arrange a place for you to see each other for the first time on the wedding day.
There are many benefits to photographing your portraits before the ceremony, including; 1) having more time, 2) timing, if your ceremony is scheduled for sunset and we want natural light portraits, 3) it is nice to be able to kick off the shoes and let down your hair to party as soon as the ceremony is over, 4) it has been known to get a bit… warm in Florida and you might want to be as fresh as possible for photos. We have never heard anything but the most positive feedback from first looks, whereas we have run into a situation now and then with ceremonies running late and running out of time or light for photographs. If you are unsure we can put you in touch with a couple who did it and you can hear how much fun it was.
Do you photograph engagements or proposals?
All the time.
Do you photograph with a second photographer?
Yes, every single time. We feel that it's very important to have different angles to be able to capture your wedding day correcly without missing any moments.
Can we meet?
Of course, fill out the contact form or reach out to us directly at 305.741.3693 to schedule a meeting.
How long until I can see my photos?
Generally it takes up to 4 weeks to edit and deliver your photographs.
How many photographs will I get?
This varies significantly depending on the wedding, but generally somewhere between 500-2000 edited photographs.
